Seeking God with All Your Heart

🌿 Scripture

“‘You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord…”
— Jeremiah 29:13-14 (NIV)

🕊 Devotional

God is not hiding from you. He has never been far off, waiting for you to figure life out on your own. His heart is to be found — not by accident, but through the seeking of a heart that longs for Him.

We often chase many things: success, approval, security. Yet none of them satisfy the deep ache in our souls. Only God can. And He promises that if you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him.

This doesn’t mean the journey will be quick or easy. Seeking God is less about checking boxes and more about relationship. It’s showing up daily in prayer, opening His Word, and turning to Him even when life feels confusing.

And the promise still stands: when you seek, you will find. Not maybe. Not possibly. But surely.

If you feel distant from God today, let this verse remind you: He wants to be found. He’s waiting with open arms. All He asks is your heart.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for promising that when I seek You, I will find You. Draw my heart closer to Yours, and help me to pursue You above all else. Remove the distractions that keep me from Your presence, and remind me that You are near and waiting to be found. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
